about

After their unmistakably folk inspired 2017 release 'Teen Angst For Twenty-Somethings', and 2018’s 'Somehow The Ship Remained Floating', the band went searching for something different. Something to breathe fresh air into their folksy sound, without compromising the focus on lyrical content that has been so prominent in their previous releases.

This resulted in 2021’s ‘Are We There Yet?’, which hints towards a darker and, at times, more experimental sound than anything they’ve ever done before. Diving into their eclectic taste in music and letting anything be fair play in the writing and recording process makes ‘Are We There Yet?’ their most ambitious and diverse release yet.

about

Windmills and Giants Oslo, Norway

Norwegian folk-rock/americana duo.

Soulful americana with a modern edge.

The duo takes inspiration from American artists like Jason Isbell, and Iron & Wine, but also fellow Norwegians like Minor Majority and Madrugada. Combining traditional musical elements often associated with Nashville, and modern songwriting, Windmills and Giants creates a sound that feels familiar and refreshing.
